Prime rib roasting in the fireplace at the Salem Cross Inn Fireplace FeastEvent Description Relax by the fire or lend a hand as your prime rib is roasted in our great fieldstone fireplace and chowder is made in an antique iron cauldron. Take a horse drawn sleigh or wagon ride through the New England countryside then chase away the chill with some nice warm mulled cider or wine. Peel an apple or two with our antique apple peeler/corer and help to make the deep dish apple pie that will be served for your dessert. Make sure you come ready to eat because we'll be serving seconds on chowder and prime rib! There will be fresh local butternut squash made the Salem Cross Inn way, freshly baked spinach pie, homemade muffins and rolls. It's a feast that you won't want to miss and will be talking about for days to come.
